LOUISIANA DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY NOTICE OF NAMES OF PERSONS APPEARING TO BE OWNERS OF ABANDONED OR UNCLAIMED PROPERTY IN TENSAS PARISH
The names listed below have been reported to the Louisiana Department of the Treasury as being persons appearing to be the owners of unclaimed funds subject to the provisions of LSA-R.S. 9:151-182, Uniform Unclaimed Property Act. These funds have been presumed to be abandoned and taken into the protective custody of the Department of the Treasury. There is no deadline for claiming your money; however, you must provide proof of ownership before the funds will be released. A copy of photo identification will be required and other information that will positively identify the rightful owner may be needed. You may file a claim for this money and securely upload your documents online at www.treasury.la.gov. By virtue of a WRIT OF SEIZURE AND SALE, to me directed, from the Honorable Sixth Judicial District Court for the Parish of Tensas, aforesaid, in the above entitled cause, I will proceed to sale, at public auction, at the principal front door of the Courthouse in the City of St. Joseph, in Tensas Parish, Louisiana, on WEDNESDAY, the 11th day of December, 2024, between the hours prescribed by law, beginning at 10:00 a.m., the following described property seized as “EXHIBIT A” in the above suit:

Beginning at the intersection of the West right-of-way line of the Newell’s Ridge road, being also Louisiana State Highway No. 575, with the South right-of-way line of a Parish gravel road known as the Ford gravel road, run, thence in a Southerly direction along the West right-of-way line of said State Highway No. 575 a distance of 140 feet to the edge of a ditch; run thence in a Westerly direction a distance of 110 feet to a point which is 110 feet in a Southerly direction from the South right-of-way line of the Ford gravel road; run thence in a Northerly direction a distance of 110 feet to the South right-of-way line of the Ford gravel road; run thence in an Easterly direction along the South right-of-way line of the Ford gravel road a distance of approximately 110 feet to the point of Beginning.
Said lot herein conveyed being situated in Section 1, T12N-R11E and being a portion of that certain one acre tract acquired by Willie Brooks, et us from Arthur A. Dickerson by deed dated October 25, 1968, recorded October 25, 1968, in Notarial Book 19, page 461, Document #81135, of the records of Tensas Parish, Louisiana.
Together with all buildings and improvements thereon, and all rights, ways, privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in an manner appeartaining.
